Jade Marie Patek Bio
A soulful blend of country, blues, and Americana, Jade Patek brings a unique sound to Texas Country radio. Jade was nominated for New Female Vocalist of the Year 2018 after her first radio single, "Drive" topped at #28 on The Texas Regional Radio Report. Her latest radio release, "Dead Flowers" reached the Top 20 on Texas Regional Radio Chart.
Jade Marie Patek comes from a rich musical lineage as the granddaughter of polka legend, Joe Patek, who delighted crowds at dancehalls for decades with his Orchestra. Using her polka roots as inspiration, Jade began writing her own music and performing it live a few years back. Her original music is purely Texan and definitely original. The songs are fueled by life experiences, life lessons and a whole lot of heart and soul.
Jade has been performing for the past 9 years at various venues from the Gulf Coast to the San Marcos/New Braunfels/San Antonio area. She has also played and will continue to play at many impressive shows and venues like MusicFest at Steamboat, Rio Frio Fest, River Jam, River Fest, numerous other festivals and national anthems. Jade calls her genre of music “marble rye bread,” showing infusions of Americana/Texas Country with flares of blues, funk, and soul. While she’s comfortable listening to Merle Haggard or jamming to Prince or AC/DC, her inspiration comes from greats like Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, and Tracy Chapman.
